Perfect Australian Holidays |
Australia has much to offer when it comes to amazing holiday
destinations. The land and attractions are diverse and the nation is
rich in history and culture. Trip planners can choose from an abundance
of attractions, adventures, and relaxing getaways. Here are just a few
of the many great Australian destinations you can reach if you plan
ahead and think of a budget travel, keeping in mind how to find cheap flights to this places and how to make the best out of your time and
money.
Sydney
When it comes to an exciting place to visit and live, Sydney has
everything. When it comes to history, archaeologists have uncovered
evidences of ancient peoples living in the area for thousands of years,
and, then, Sydney was the spot first settled as a British colony in
Australia. Of course, the harbor has the two most famous landmarks of
the country, the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Besides
having an active city life and fabulous restaurants, entertainment and
shopping, the area has fine beaches and national parks where people can
enjoy nature, wildlife, and outdoor sports.
Great
Ocean Road
For an excellent road trip, travelers can stop in Melbourne and then
head for B100, which is the Great Ocean Road, the largest of historical
memorials in the world. The road is significant because World War I
soldiers built it in remembrance of those
who died in that war. Today, this highway is a wonderful way to enjoy
the coast, national parks and reserves, and the seaside towns. The
towns have comfortable accommodation for visitors. Torquay is at the
beginning of the road and offers great golfing with lovely ocean views.
Then, the Great Otway National Park provides walking trails, forests,
wildlife and beaches. The Twelve Apostles off the coast of Port
Campbell are famous as national landmarks. All along the road,
spectacular sites greet the eye.
Northwest
One of the best regions for a truly Australian outback experience, the
northwest has rugged terrain, waterfalls, beaches, and caves with
historic Aboriginal art. The natural wilderness is fresh, serene and a
wonderful place for day or extended adventures, backpacking, camping,
rock climbing and many more sport and leisure pursuits. Lake Argyle
offers great fishing, boating and wildlife watching.
East
Coast
On the east coast, people enjoy spending time exploring the Great
Barrier Reef and local islands in the vicinity that have white sandy
beaches. People enjoy barbecues on the beach, snorkeling, and fishing
here. Naturally, the Australia Zoo, about an hour north of Brisbane is
a favorite, as well. This is Steve Irwin and his family's home zoo.
